weekend update...

Hoping everyone is having a good weekend! My weekend so far:

I finished up the 6th day of Jillian Michael's Ripped in 30 workout. I'm not sure I'll survive the next level. Fingers are crossed! Have any of you made it through one of her workout dvd's with great results?? I could use some more motivation. Seriously. I barely made it through level 1 in one piece and will be starting level 2 tomorrow. I'm scared...

The kiddo and I took a little road trip yesterday to visit with friends we don't get to see often enough. We had dinner at a restaurant that overlooks Lake Guntersville and it was beautiful. Aside from the fact that I managed to break my shoe within minutes of getting to the restaurant and having to walk around shoeless in public, it was a great night.

Tonight I plan on trying my hand at dyeing some fabric. I've been inspired by some pretty things I've seen on Pinterest.

  2. I've done the 30 Day Shred. It's intense but you do get results. Unfortunately I'm too lazy to keep it up! You can work out for both of us, right??

  4. I have done her 30 day shred and the Ripped in 30 with pretty good results. I have been reading about exercise lately and finally realizing that modifying the diet as well as exercise are the way you get the fastest results. I have lost 25 pounds since November since I have combined them, before I thought just adding the intense exercise would do it and my results were dismal.
    About her levels, I would get bored with doing the same one daily so once I felt I could do one level I would move to the next and then alternate back and forth do stave off the boredom.
