I got this pattern a while ago, made one, and just tried my second. It turned out a bit wonky because I added extra pockets, am still trying to figure out the best interfacing to use, and had serious thread issues. I really like this fabric though and decided I'd use it as my project folder to take with me when I shop for fabrics and such. I can't decide how I want to do the pockets. I love 'em and want lots of them. Whenever I get the kinks worked out, some may find their way to the shop. Probably not any time soon though. Just sayin'.
I love this, I definitely have to put it on my to do list!
ReplyDeleteIt's a great pattern to have-lots of ways to you could customize it, etc. I may make some of these as Christmas gifts.
ReplyDeleteGreat fabric Vanessa, love the colors.
ReplyDeleteI've been looking for a good pattern like this for gifts! Love the colors!
ReplyDeleteThanks, everyone! That fabric is actually a throw blanket. I found it at Target on clearance in the back to school/college dorm section. Very large so I have lots of fabric to play with.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment Vanessa! I'm so glad I found your blog, it's great and you led me to Keyka Lou, which I absolutely LOVE! So thanks a bunch!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Jess! Kekya Lou's patterns are amazing. I've learned lots from them and her blog is really helpful. Happy sewing!
ReplyDeleteThis is great: perfect for keeping things together at the fabric shop!
