sewing summit bound...

I'm headed out to Salt Lake City early Wednesday morning for Sewing Summit! Still so much left to do but I'm beyond excited. I most looking forward to getting to spend some much needed quality time with friends and making new ones as well. This year has gone by so fast and I'm still having a hard time believing it's October and almost time to get on that plane. Speaking of planes, it's been years since I've been on one. 1997, to be exact. I ended up having to spend the night at the Seattle airport by myself  (not fun. at all) before that last flight. I had seriously overpacked on that trip and trying to keep up with a pile of luggage while camped out at an airport was a nightmare. That morning, while trying to stay awake and waiting to board, the story of Princess Diana's death was all over the news. It was kind of surreal. Needless to say, I'm a little nervous about that part of my trip - I'm most definitely hoping for uneventful air travel! 

For those of you who aren't going but want to keep up with what's going on, I plan to take lots of photos both with my phone and my "real" camera. Follow along on Instagram @lbgstudio. When I get back, I'll share photos here on the blog as well.
