I tried my hand at a little food photography today while working on a section of the photography class I'll be teaching at Sewing Summit. Obviously I needed something food-related to photograph so I figured why not bake? I tried a whole wheat pumpkin bread recipe I found over at Cookie and Kate and it is SO good! And the kiddo gives it two thumbs up as well so I think I'll be making it again. I stuck pretty close to the recipe but had to use a bundt pan instead of a bread pan. If you're looking for a fall inspired treat that goes well with coffee, this is it!

Sounds like a great excuse to bake to me! Looking forward to the class, it's the setup of food and craft photos that I truly suck at!

ReplyDeleteoh wow, holy moly vanessa! You are amazing! I think some magazine needs to hire you as a photographer.
ReplyDeleteThat looks delicious and the photos are awesome! I've been wanting to improve my food photography but half the time I end up having to take pictures in my kitchen in the evening, which has terrible lighting.
ReplyDeleteThese photos are amazing!! I can't wait for your class!
